Shining a Light on the month of May
Part of the month-end review journaling practice is creating intentions and PLANS for the next month.

Rather than letting the month happen to you,
this is a time where you can start to pinpoint places were you will focus your attention over the next month.

Focusing your attention is the topic of this podcast episode from Brene Brown's Dare to Lead about focus and attention.  The flashlight, floodlight and juggler metaphors are discussed by Peak Mind author, Dr. Amishi Jha and it is really, really good!  In that episode, you will hear Dr. Jha say, "point your flashlight" as a way to focus your attention.

So....please
"Point your flashlight"

At the month of April
and at your calendar, your photos, your bank accounts, and your health/wellnessby completing the end of the month review in the next couple of days.  I have the process in a 3-step worksheet available for you FOR FREE.

DECODING YOUR DREAMS
Add some light to the darkness!
I recently recorded the steps to my personal journaling practice for Decoding Your Dreams.  Our weird, wild, nonsensical dreams are often sending important messages to us if only we can decode the metaphors and make them meaningful.  You can use my practice for yourself and let me know what you think!

LIVE DISCUSSION W/
Dr. Robert Jason Grant
Another place that metaphors and meaning show up is in the SAND TRAY.  Focus your attention on enhancing your sandtray practice and join Dr. Robert Jason Grant on May 21st for a live Q&A about his course, Using Sandtray with Children with Autism Spectrum Disorder.

JEN'S JOURNAL
Consider the "Point your Flashlight" metaphor offered by
Dr. Amishi Jha as a place for your journal today.

What is getting the majority of your attention right now?

Is that where you want your attention to be?

Where will you point your flashlight during the month of May?
