Where do you invest more?
Riddle me this....

Consider for one second the amount of money that you have invested into continuing education programs?
Think about the certifications, credentials, and consultation fees

These are worthwhile investments that make you a better professional.
WITHOUT QUESTION.  100%.

Now, do that same thing but this time think only about the classes and consultations that are specifically
related to owning or running your BUSINESS
or to managing your financial health.

For many people, including myself
the second set of numbers is significantly lower.

WHY IS THAT?

Is it lack of opportunity?  Lack of interest in the topic?
The story that social workers can't make money doing the work they love?

Did you know that for many of your favorite leaders in the mental health field, those numbers might even be reversed?
Yep. 

I get a chance to interview respected play therapist and entrepreneur, Lisa Dion tomorrow for a special episode of her Lessons from the Playroom Podcast.
Lisa has taken the same business course FIVE times. 

She's going to share her business journey - from starting a private practice to creating Synergetic Play Therapy to her career as a writer and award-winning teacher.
*Spoiler alert - she makes it look easy but she's human just like us and started from the bottom and worked her way up!
